Michael G. Cano was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley (McAllen, TX).  Mr. Cano is an attorney at the Rio Grande Valley and Houston offices of The O’Quinn Law Firm.

Mr. Cano joined The O’Quinn Law Firm in 2002 as a law clerk and became a licensed attorney in January 2005.  Mr. Cano’s practice is primarily concentrated in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, commercial litigation and mass torts.

Mr. Cano earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, Management from the University of Texas-Pan American in 1998 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center in 2004.

In his relatively short time with The O’Quinn Law Firm, Mr. Cano has gained a wide range of litigation experience.  Mr. Cano has been involved with complex, toxic tort cases, wrongful death cases, commercial litigation, insurance bad faith, and medical malpractice and has been involved in several multi-million dollar lawsuits.

Mr. Cano is fluent in written and spoken Spanish.  Mr. Cano currently resides in McAllen, TX with his wife, Nora and son, Aaron Justice.
