Information sought in death of pedestrian near Highway 6

Authorities are asking for the public's help in locating the drivers responsible for fatally striking a man as he walked along a west Houston highway in November.

Julio Ceasar Lopez was walking southbound in the 4900 block of Highway 6 North about 3:45 a.m. Nov. 30 when several drivers struck him. No one stopped to help him and Lopez was found dead.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers. The organization will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the 713-222-8477 (TIPS) hotline or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org that leads to the arrest of the individual responsible. Callers may remain anonymous.
